Having moved to the Aspen area in 1972, practically makes Jill an Aspen native. Originally from New York City, she moved to Aspen via Philadelphia, Montana and New Mexico. She called Aspen home after discovering it offers a balance of natural beauty, cultural sophistication and opportunity.
Her early belief in the Aspen marketplace led Jill to build some of the first log homes, salvaging the logs from the old Lenado Mill above Woody Creek and hauling them down in a two ton truck to the property in Old Snowmass.
In 1974, she and her husband , with a "little help from their friends",built the first 100% solar-heated home in a climate this severe. This hands-on experience allows Jill to provide valuable insights and guidance to her clients who want to build.
Jill's deep appreciation for the Aspen community and the unique lifestyle of the Roaring Fork Valley allows her to connect with clients on a personal level and understand their specific needs and desires.
For sellers, Jill goes above and beyond to give their properties maximum exposure. She believes above all in pricing properties well. Professional photography, and strategic advertising, attract potential buyers. Jill is committed to holding open houses and being present for all showings, ensuring that each property receives the attention it deserves. With the seller's agreement, she also utilizes social media to exhibit properties, reaching a wider audience and generating more interest. When she's not assisting clients, Jill enjoys exploring the beautiful Aspen area by either skiing, hiking, biking or cross country skiing , and staying up-to-date with the latest market trends. Her belief in giving back to her community has led her to be a crisis responder with Response, a rape crisis organization; a volunteer with the Shining Stars, a Colorado based non profit that focuses on renewing spirits and igniting hope in children living with life threatening diseases, and currently on the advisory board of the Aspen Hope Center, a crisis intervention center that she is quite proud of.
